I am confused whether a personal home tutor or a big online coaching platform is better for cracking JEE. Both have pros and cons.
Choose based on your discipline level and your specific weak areas. A home tutor gives personalised pace, instant doubt clearing, and accountability, which suits students who need someone to keep them on track or who have specific weak chapters needing focused attention. Online coaching gives structured courses, large question banks, all-India test series and top faculty at lower cost, which suits self-disciplined students who can study independently and want competitive benchmarking. Many serious JEE aspirants combine both: an online structured course or test series for content and rankings, plus a home tutor for the two or three subjects or topics where they struggle. Before deciding, judge honestly whether you study consistently on your own. If yes, online is cost-effective; if you need a push and one-on-one attention, a good home tutor earns its higher cost.
