A complete profile gets a free verified badge, which confirms the profile is complete rather than checking your documents. 2. Students nearby post requirements; matching ones appear in your dashboard. 3. Apply to students for free (up to 10 a day on the Free plan). When a student accepts you, you can chat with them for free. 4. Pro tutors unlock the student's phone number the moment they're accepted, so you can call or WhatsApp directly. Zero commission — you keep 100% of what the student pays you.

Yes. Posting requirements, searching and viewing every tutor, replying to tutors and booking free demo classes are all free. On the Free plan you can send up to 5 requests a day, and once a tutor accepts you, you can chat freely. Student Pro (₹499/month, list ₹999) adds: view tutor phone numbers and WhatsApp, unlimited requests, and your requirements auto-featured and shown first to matching tutors. Either way, you pay the tutor directly for classes — zero commission.

Institutes can list their centre and receive enquiries for free. Institute Pro is ₹1,999/month (was ₹2,999): contact students to fill your batches, list unlimited courses and batches, hire tutors with up to 3 job posts a month, featured placement, and a verified institute badge (free with a complete profile). Zero commission — students pay you directly for classes.

The badge is given automatically when a tutor fills in their name, subjects, area, hourly rate, bio and photo. It's free and no tutor pays for it. It confirms the profile is complete — it is not an ID or qualification check. It only means the profile is complete. It does not mean we have checked the tutor's ID, degree certificates, teaching experience or background — we don't collect those documents. Please interview any tutor and ask to see their documents yourself before you hire them.

Your phone number is never shown publicly on Free. It's only shared with a tutor once you accept them, or with a Pro tutor after you accept them — so random tutors can't see it. You can also toggle 'Show phone publicly' off in Settings → Privacy.

A short introductory session with a tutor before you commit to regular classes. Demo classes are free to book on TuitionsinIndia. Use it to check the tutor's teaching style before deciding to continue with regular paid classes.

Both are available on the platform. Filter by 'Teaching mode' on search. Class 9–10 students usually prefer home tuition. Class 11–12 and JEE/NEET aspirants often prefer online to save commute time.

Pro subscriptions: cancel any time from Settings → Billing. No refunds on partially-used months.
