Refund & Cancellation Policy

Creating an account, posting a profile or a tuition requirement, browsing tutors, and chatting with tutors who respond to you are all free. You only pay if you choose a paid plan or product, so most users never make a payment at all.

Paid products are billed securely through Razorpay and include:

• Pro subscriptions — monthly plans for students (₹499/month) and tutors that unlock contact details, unlimited requests, and priority placement.
• Credits and one-time products — such as lead unlocks and featured listings.

You can cancel a Pro subscription at any time from your dashboard under Subscription. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it is not renewed after that. We do not charge any cancellation fee.

Because our paid products give you immediate digital access, payments are generally non-refundable once the benefit has been used — for example, once a subscription period has begun, a credit has been spent, or a contact has been unlocked.

That said, we want every payment to feel fair. If you were charged in error, charged twice, or could not use what you paid for because of a technical problem on our side, email us within 7 days of the payment and we will review it and issue a refund where it is due. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Monthly tuition fees are agreed directly between students and tutors and are paid directly to the tutor. TuitionsInIndia does not collect, hold, or take a commission on tuition fees, so any matter relating to tuition payments, schedules, or refunds is between the student and the tutor.

Email support@tuitionsinindia.com from the email address on your account, with your payment date and the Razorpay payment ID (shown in your payment history). We aim to respond within 2 business days.
