I understand the chapters but in the board paper I lose marks in geometry proofs and construction. How do I write them so the examiner gives full marks?
Maharashtra SSC geometry marks come from presentation as much as logic. For theorem-based proofs, always write the structure the board expects: Given, To Prove, Construction (if any), and then the Proof with reasons stated for every step. Never skip the reason in brackets, because steps without justification lose marks even if the answer is right. Draw a clean, labelled figure first, since an unlabelled figure costs you. For construction questions, show rough figure, the analysis or steps of construction in words, and keep all arcs visible (do not erase them) as the examiner checks them. Practise the prescribed theorems from the textbook exactly, because the board repeats them. Finish geometry early in the paper while your hand is steady and your figures are neat.
